Usage Policies
Rewarded Interest Policies.
Use of the Rewarded Interest Consumer Mediated Ad ID (CMAID) is restricted. This document is incorporated by reference within our distribution partner and ad tech partner contracts. The following restrictions apply to the use of the Rewarded Interest CMAID.​

General Policies
The CMAID can only be used by clients of Rewarded Interest and their Data Processors.
The CMAID may not be used in any unlawful manner. Its use, including collection and association of any information with the ID, may not be used to discriminate against any protected class in any jurisdiction. This includes discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, sexual preference, or disability.
The CMAID may only be used for advertising purposes. This includes but is not limited to conversion tracking, post-impression conversion tracking, remarketing, creation of interest segments, reporting, and targeting of advertisements online. Use of the CMAID is also subject to the consent choices of the consumer.
Partners must abide by the consumer's consent choices as communicated by Rewarded Interest either via a CMP integration or on-page API disclosure.

Ad Tech Related Partners
The following policies apply to all users of the Rewarded Interest ID but are logically grouped here for ease of understanding.

No reassociation. If a consumer has opted out of using the CMAID or has reset their CMAID, that new ID should be treated as an independent and new consumer. Clients should not reassociate any historical information with the new CMAID. Clients may associate new information with the new CMAID

Good Standing. The CMAID will only be provided to customers that are in good standing with Rewarded Interest. This includes, but is not limited to adherence to policies, compliant with payment terms and timeframes and compliant with other contractual terms.

No transferring data to another ID space. It is prohibited to use the CMAID to perform actions on another ID space or graph. This includes, but is not limited to, transferring data to another ID space, improving linkages within an ID graph or porting data between other ID spaces.

Disclosure. All partners must disclose their use of any additional parties to ensure proper representation to consumers.

Distribution Partners
The following policies apply to all users of the Rewarded Interest ID but are logically grouped here for ease of understanding.

Consumer access. Partners must provide logically located and clearly indicated access to the Rewarded Interest system from their applicable apps and websites for all mutual consumers.

Prompt payment. Partners providing compensation to consumers of any type must make the funds / value of the funds sent to them via the Rewarded Interest program available to the associated consumers without undue burden or restrictions to the payment. Any funds not appropriately distributed via a distribution partner may be reclaimed by Rewarded Interest and payed out via another Distribution Partner.

Fraud and Abuse. Payments will be withheld in cases of fraud or abuse.
